40% brewers‘ yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) bound to 60% brewers‘ grains.

Brewers‘ yeast and brewers‘ grains are produced in breweries under strict food guidelines. At Leiber, it is refined and inactivated using state-of-the-art processes.

The unique production process preserves the essential ingredients of the brewers‘ yeast, such as proteins, B vitamins, trace elements and amino acids. At the same time, the brewers‘ yeast is deprived of its hygroscopic properties, which improves the taste and makes it easier to store the product.

Brewers‘ grains are particularly notable for their high content of crude fibre, crude fat and crude protein. Moreover, it is rich in various non-starch polysaccharides such as hemicelluloses, which serve as a nutrient substrate for the large intestine microbiome.
